About Me:
Anthropologist (PhD UConn) now teaches at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Areas of research include health and society, social change, poverty, stratification, development and foreign aid, child health, child abuse, child rights, and disaster management. In addition, I work with Community Based Organizations towards improving living condition and betterment of the lives of the deprived in Sri Lanka.
