About Me:
I'm currently an Assistant Professor of Marine Policy at the School of Marine Sciences at the University of Maine. I study the human dimensions of marine fisheries, with a focus on the Northeast US.
I am interested in the role of public participation and different forms of expertise in the policy-making. I also study the interactions between fisheries management and fishing communities, including the social-economic impacts of decision-making on fishing communities and the potential role of communities in policy-making.
