About Me:
My current research focuses on themes at the intersection of religion, health, and volunteering. More specifically, I am interested in healthcare in the community and worked with Faith Community Nurses in the Omaha metropolitan area to better understand the impact of their services and programs on the health of their clients. Additional reseach interests are refugee health, the effectiveness of alternative and complementary medicine, and the role of values and virtues in health education.
